Harwan M. Taha received his M.Sc. degree in Electrical Power from Newcastle University, United Kingdom, in 2016, and his B.Sc. degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Duhok, Iraq, in 2010. He is currently a lecturer and officer of the scientific affairs unit at Duhok Polytechnic University \ Technical College of Engineering (TCE). His research interests include renewable energy, power electronics, and electrical machines.

It is a device that converts mechanical energy into electrical energy or vice versa. It also includes transformers.
