Biography

Imran Nazar is a civil engineer/ Dams and water resources, and he is a lecturer in Duhok Polytechnic University (DPU) since 2015. He earned his BSc in Dams and water resources engineering at university of Mosul in 2011, and his MSc in Hydrology from the same university in 2014. Also he had an opportunity to get a training course on water resources management in Stockholm Environment Institute (SEI) in Davis, California, USA in 2013. His recent research is focusing on water evaluation and planning using integrated water resources management between surface and ground water, his last article entitled “INTEGRATED APPLICATION OF (MODFLOW) AND (WEAP) MODEL IN NINEVEH PROVINCE”. Imran has experience in teaching undergraduate students in the fields of hydrology, Hydraulics, and mechanic principles in different universities and institutes in Kurdistan Region. His research interest is in surface water, groundwater, climate change and integrated water resources managements. In addition to his high academic performance, he has gained sufficient and necessary field work experience on working as supervisor engineer with some private companies and NGO. His current responsibility is teaching undergraduate students in engineering college at DPU.
