The tasks of the Quality Assurance Unit: 1.Setting the unit's vision, mission, strategic goals and implementation plans, and documenting them from the institute Council. 2. Setting the organizational and administrative structure of the unit and approving it from the institute Council. 3. Organizing and holding workshops, training courses, meetings and meetings with the different groups in the institute, the graduate and the external beneficiary to spread the culture of quality. 4. Follow up on the preparation of documents for program files (descriptions and reports for decisions and the program) in accordance with the requirements and models of the National Authority to ensure the quality of education and accreditation and fulfill all the items mentioned in the forms and benefit from the results of students' evaluation of the course and program and activate the proposed improvement plans. 5. Preparing flyers, posters, advertisements and brochures in relation to spreading and promoting the culture of quality in the institute. 6.Preparing questionnaires for the different categories of the institute, the graduate and the external beneficiary. 7. Discussing quality issues in the institute council, main committees and departmental councils. 8. Activating the role of the external and internal evaluator of the program and decisions (all fields of specialization) and benefiting from the views of the resident in the process of improvement and development. 9. Create a guide for the Quality Assurance Unit and announce it to educate the various groups in the institute about their role and responsibilities to reach accreditation. 10. Preparing self studies / annual reports of the institute and developing improvement plans. 11. Preparing all documents and reports (accredited and documented) at the unit’s headquarters, in preparation for visiting the National Authority to ensure the quality of education and accreditation. 12. Communicate and interact with the university's quality assurance office to evaluate performance in order to achieve and ensure the application of the quality system. 13. Study the training needs of the faculty, the support staff, and administrators, develop training plans to develop their capabilities, and make reports to follow up on these plans. 14. Activating the role of the internal audit committee and external auditors (in the scientific departments and the Quality Assurance Unit) and documenting the audit reports and sending them to the institutes Quality Assurance Office.

A published research in an Iraq journal of statistic science in 2008, (The Prediction of Seasonal ARIMA Model by using Exponential Smoothing Methods with Application) , 2008(14) ; p(171 – 205 ) ABSTRACT The reconciliation of one of the time series models with ARIMA (P, D, Q) S seasonal to the average humidly in Mosul (1971-2001) has been carried out in this study.Prediction It is reached to the best Models in the proportional ARIMA (2, 1, 4)8, because it has the less value for statistical standard AIC (k), MSE.The current study, also arrived at to the reconciliation of seasonal time series models after performance of introduction for series by making Programs (MATLAB) for it. The method adopted is Winters' Three Parameters Exponential (Smoothing) method, method of Holt-Winters Multiplicative and Holt-Winters Additive. The third method chosen is the best model of prediction for every method depending on the same statistic.Finally, in this paper the best model is reconciliated for the introduction methods after performance, the difference for every method and the choice of the best prediction of every method depending on the same statistical methods.
